NASCAR The Game: 2011

These are some glitches I ran into playing NASCAR The Game: 2011. The game was notorious for various problems, particularly in online lobbies. The lap counter would get messed up resulting in weird lap times, cars would suddenly veer across the track at random - sometimes driving outside the track up in the grand stands, and an "invisible bubble" would form around the cars, causing endless arguments about whether someone intentionally hit someone else.

Here's one where the cars literally got "stuck" against the outside wall, including my own. The other drivers lost their paint schemes. All their bodywork disappeared, leaving just the simplified roll cage.

Hey... where are the engines?

In this next one, the lap counter glitched out, causing it to record a lap time of 2 tenths of a second, which as you can see is pretty damn fast for a 2 mile track.

Hopefully I'll be able to break the 36,000 MPH barrier if I tweak my tire pressures.

Aren't I supposed to be following the pace car?

The crash physics in NASCAR The Game: 2011 range from "passable" to "Welcome to the Matrix."
